Rhos Farm is a well established family business, owned and ran by Richard and Susan Burgoyne and our children Hannah, Alex and Lara providing livery services. We offer a friendly and sociable environment for horses and owners alike.
We are situated on the English/Welsh border, a short distance from Llanymynech and Welshpool with Shrewsbury only 20 minutes drive away with ideal countryside to hack out and about.
We offer a range of livery packages to suit all needs and requirements and preferences. Horses are housed in light, roomy and airy stables with turnout in individual paddocks, post and railed and electrified. All liveries receive ad lib haylege throughout the winter months and lorry/trailer parking.
Rhos Farm regularly hosts visiting instructors and events throughout the year. Our facilities are used by pony and riding clubs locally.
We offer an indoor riding school 80' x 42' with sand and rubber surface and a newly constructed outdoor ménage measuring 60m x 25m with a sand and fibre surface and fully floodlit.
A new cross country course has been added (minimus height) over a 2½ acre undulating site – formerly a Medieval hill fort thought to date back to 900BC.

'The new arena at Rhos Farm Equestrian is a fabulous addition to the local area. The surface is very good and not deep or dusty, excellent for flat work and jumping. The addition of floodlights makes it usable through out the year. We have used this facility for pony club activities and always have a good welcome. The views are impressive too!'Sally Evans

I have kept my two horses Splodgers and Henry at Rhos Farm since 2008. Although there are other yards closer to home I drive the 72 mile round trip from where I live near Llandrindod Wells with pleasure.
Whenever I take a clinic for the ‘Vrnwy Valley Riding Club’ at ‘Rhos Farm’ I always enjoy the lovely friendly and relaxed atmosphere. This combined with the fantastic new arena makes the venue an ideal location for my clinics and and a wide range of equestrian actitivies.John Biggs
